It's nice outside. But I'm inside playing pokemon because natural light glares off the screen on my DS. nerd. nerd nerd nerd. nerd³.
Why is my ear bleeding? It's been scabby and painful for weeks now. I'm afraid to go near it with a Qtip, but if I leave it be then it starts to fill with tissue and wax. Then I can't hear. I'm sure you all enjoyed that description immensely... but I don't know what to do! Considering some self diagnosis with internet medical knowledge. Now that's a scary idea.
Speaking of scary, why do owls have to be so creepy sounding? I like hoots. And I can even stand the occasional throaty moan from a great horned. But those screech owls... according to one of the many bird books in my house, their most common vocalization is
"A high pitched whinny, like that of a young foal in pain"
Now would you like to hear that at midnight lying in bed? I certainly don't. And yet, closing the windows makes my room stuffy.
As I'm sure the many and convoluted problems in my life are fascinating you to no end, I'll let this post stand alone on the pure merit of its awesomeness.

BTW do you know why everyone hates Stephen Harper? Everyone was bashing him in history class and I had no idea why, since I never pay attention to politics.

STEPHEN HARPER. GRAH! You have released the anti-conservative monster in me. True facts time: The fact that the conservative party was created on my birthday- SAME YEAR EVEN- bothers me more than Pearl harbour being the same day.
ReplyDeleteStephen harper is a bullying tool who got to power through trashing and downtalking his opponents. The only way he *stayed* in power so long is because he attached a non-confidence vote to every bill he tried to pass.
Shall I explain this? No one wanted an election, and if the liberals called one all the voters would hate them. So harper basically said "If you don't agree with this bill then you have to start an election", which isn't going to happen. So he just gets to force whatever he wants into law, even though he has a MINORITY.
Conservatives are like, Canadian republicans. But not quite as bad. Also: harper doesn't think I should get the same rights as straight people. Thanks. Not.
